Questions

Is it free to start a group?

Yes. Starting a Glad Swap costs nothing. Each person pays only for the gift they give, and we earn a small commission from the maker.

Can people in different cities join?

Yes. Each gift is redeemed where that person lives, so a cousin in Madrid gets a Madrid maker and a friend in Tbilisi gets a Tbilisi one.

What if someone doesn't buy their gift?

The organiser sees who hasn't chosen yet and can nudge them in one tap before the exchange day.

How long does a gift last?

12 months. They can swap it for another maker anytime, and if a maker closes they get a refund or a swap.
