Terms of sale
The rules for buying and using a Glad You Liked gift certificate. Draft of 24 September 2026, to be checked by a lawyer before the first sale.
Who sells
Gift certificates are sold by Serra GCVC OÜ (registry code 17183619), Tööstuse 75, 10416 Tallinn, Estonia, under the Glad You Liked brand. Contact: hello@gladyouliked.com.
What you buy
A gift certificate for an experience or a piece from a named local maker, or an open certificate with a value to spend with any maker in that city. The recipient redeems it in person with the maker.
How long it lasts
12 months from purchase. If no date works for the recipient, or something goes wrong with the maker, we help them move it to another maker in the same city within those 12 months, up to the same value.
Refunds
- You can cancel and get a full refund within 14 days of buying, as long as the gift has not been redeemed.
- After 14 days there are no refunds; if no date works or something goes wrong with the maker, we help move the gift to another maker in the same city.
- If something goes wrong on our side, write to hello@gladyouliked.com and we will make it right.
If a maker closes or stops offering the gift
The recipient swaps it for another maker in the same city, and we add a bonus to the value as a thank-you for their patience. We may also add a bonus in other special cases.
Gifts that are never used
If a gift is still unused when the 12 months end, the buyer gets its value back as credit on Glad You Liked, to use on another gift.
Open certificates and balances
An open certificate can be spent over more than one visit with the same maker; the remaining balance stays on the gift until it is used or expires.
Group gifts and Secret Santa
In a Glad Group Gift each person pays their own share, and everyone in the group sees who gave what. If the group raises less than the gift costs, the organiser can top up, choose something cheaper, or send an open certificate for the amount raised.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the maker's local currency, with an approximate amount in yours. You pay by card. Makers are paid by us after the gift is redeemed.
